If Barbie Girl Was Written In 2021

The song Barbie Girl was released in 1997 by the Danish-Norwegian dance group named Aqua. The song was written by Søren Rasted, Claus Norreen, René Dif, and Lene Nystrøm, and was produced by Johnny Jam, Delgado, Rated, and Norreen. The song became extremely popular and it was considered one of the best-selling singles of all time. The lyrics center on Mattel’s dolls ‘Barbie’ and ‘Ken’, but the song wasn’t ordered as a commercial for the dolls. In this viral cover version written and sung by Hannah Grae, YouTuber and TikToker, the song has been updated to match the style of more recent music (such as…) to draws a parallel between Barbie and woman’s life in society.
