Urban Outfitters, Eat Less T-shirt

In 2010, the retail chain Urban Outfitters created controversy by selling a t-shirt printed with the words “eat less” on the front. Various news outlets drew attention to the ways the shirt could be seen as promoting anorexia and an unhealthy body image. After media attention, Urban Outfitters stopped selling the shirt.
